Abstract

Summary
International efforts to protect coastal states and the marine environment in particular, as a common human heritage, from nuclear damage will not achieve the desired results unless there is national legislation that contributes to protecting the marine environment and coastal states from the dangers of nuclear ships during their passage across the seas. The issue of protecting the environment from nuclear radioactive contamination has received the attention of international organizations that have sought to hold international conferences with the aim of enhancing the protection of the human environment in various fields.
